The World of BEEKEEPING Camp

This one is all about bees! The camp includes an introduction for beginning beekeeping, including bee biology, hive requirements, honey production, pest issues, etc. You can view bees through Plexiglas! No live bee handling included.

Learn while having fun with hands-on activities on the banks of the beautiful Locust Fork River near Cleveland.  Trained leaders will guide activities from kayaking and canoeing to learning about the river, its animals, and our watershed. Yes, kids will get wet and meet live animals!

Experience life in the 1800s at Blountsville Historical Park! It’s Blount County’s and Alabama’s Bicentennial! Travel the first road in in Alabama! View demonstrations of bygone crafts and ways of life! Be a part of history!! This camp is for the WHOLE FAMILY!
